About Us

The Benevolent Asian Jade Society of New England was started in 1983 by eight sworn officers of the Boston Police Department known as the Asian Jade Society of Boston. Since then, the name of the Society has been changed to the Benevolent Asian Jade Society of New England (BAJSNE).

 

The Society is a Non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

The BAJSNE is also a member of the National Asian Peace Officers Association (NAPOA). NAPOA

is the national association that serves as the voice of over 3,000 Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) law enforcement officers and special agents in 22 local chapters across the country.

 

The Society's membership consists of law enforcement officers from Federal, States, Counties, Cities and Towns their Local Law Enforcement Agencies within the region of the New England of six states. The Society also has associate memberships for individuals that work or are interested in promoting law enforcement, community relations or related fields consistent with the goals of the BAJSNE.

 

The goal of the BAJSNE is to provide a fraternity for Asian American law enforcement officers and others to share their common interests as well as to recruit, retain, promote and encourage Asian American involvement and support for law enforcement as both a profession and as a service to the community as well as supporting community based crime prevention programs and neighborhood community outreach to the Asian American population in our region.
